Asher Crawls

That's right, Asher is officially mobile and loving every minute of it! Bryant loves that Asher can move around and although he isn't a very fast crawler, he is definitely getting the hang of it. Very cute!!!

Fun in the Sun

We have had some beautiful weather here the last week or so and time outside is a must with two little boys. Daddy made a great gravel play area for Bryant and he spends his afternoons with tractors and shovels digging and being a boy...he really is in his element outside in the dirt. My fair haired little Asher loves to be outside, so I bring out a blanket (he does NOT, like the feeling of grass and it will downright ruin his day if he is forced to touch it!) and a few toys and he is happy. Just thought I'd share a few pics of outside playtime.

Asher Swinging at the Playground

Life in the Davis House

Well, what can I say, but if you are still checking our blog for updates...bless you! Between work, taking care of two sweet little boys and keeping up with the house, there is no time for anything extra. Much has happened in the months since our last posting, as I am sure you can well imagine. Bryant just finished up swimming lessons with my friend and running buddy Ashley, and he loved every minute of it and he has actually picked up quite a few skills along the way. We will need to spend some time in the pool this summer to make sure he retains what he has learned, so I will have to sacrifice and spend some hot summer days in the pool, darn!!! :-)

Asher is doing fantastic! He has another eye appointment in Portland at OHSU in July and we will get him new glasses and a new perscription. I am amazed the glasses he is in now have lasted this long, but he is doing great with them. Asher has grown 4 teeth in the last 3 weeks, and hated every minute of it, but he is doing great with solid foods and really prefers to feed himself to having mommy spoon feeding him. He is trying really hard to crawl, but so far he does a lot of rolling around and scooting backwards. We call him rolley polley because that is how he gets everywhere right now, but hey it works!! He is such a mellow happy baby and I think he is just content to let his brother take care of him and relax, no need to crawl or walk when someone will take care of things for you!

Jeremy is very busy with work and we are extremely thankful for the busy time. He has two guys working for him this year and that seems to be adequate for now.

Work is busy for me and juggling the mommyhood/work thing hasn't been easy, but I am really getting the hang of scheduling out my day to make sure I can take care of the necessities. The boys keep me very busy, but they also play really well independently, so that makes it a lot easier for me to get things done.

Warm, wonderful Spring weather has descended upon us the last couple of weeks and we have been outside enjoying every minute of it. My treadmill is in need of repair, so I am running outside with the boys in the double jogger most days, great workout, but really exhausting! My Mom came over for Mother's Day and we all had fun hanging out shopping and going for walks. Last weekend we hit the high 80's, so Bryant got his first taste of playing in his little outdoor pool and he had a blast. Asher spent his time playing on a towel in the grass and we all enjoyed the sunshine. I will try my best to update this blog a little more often, once you get this far out of date it is easy to just let things go!
